The Dolphin Nautilus CC is a robotic cleaner, not a suction-side cleaner attached to the pool’s skimmer hose. Its onboard filter and electrical supply are the relevant starting points for pickup and power checks. Keep its model identity separate from the CC Plus, Pro and Supreme.
Know What the CC Is Designed to Do
The current Maytronics specification for 99996113-USB lists floor-and-wall coverage, not waterline scrubbing. It also lists no mobile app or weekly timer. Verify your own version; failure to provide a feature it never had is not a repair fault.
Useful Checks and Information
- Rinse and properly seat the onboard filter.
- With power disconnected, inspect accessible debris around moving parts.
- Inspect the cable for damage; do not repair wiring by improvisation.
- Record the stop time, indicator state and areas missed before requesting service.
Safe Routine Care and Repair Limits
Follow the exact manual for power connection, removal and cleaning. Switch off and disconnect power before inspecting filters or accessible moving parts. Keep swimmers out while the cleaner operates, do not run a submerged-type robot dry, and do not lift it by its cable.
Stop using the cleaner if a cord is damaged, it smells burned or becomes abnormally hot, or electrical protection trips repeatedly. Do not open sealed electrical housings or repeatedly reset a breaker. A robot does not replace the pool’s water testing, sanitizer and circulation. Confirm repair scope and manufacturer warranty eligibility rather than assuming local service is authorized warranty work.
